At Pike's one of our goals is to provide you with a variety of food so that you won't go hungry.  This section outlines your options both summer and winter:

Summer:

Breakfast every day in the Binkley Room, ground floor, main hotel building.  There are two options for a sit down breakfast.  We also have muffins and coffee available for an additional charge in the lobby. The coffee in the summer is roasted locally from North Pole Coffee Co. and in the winter, it is roasted by Kaladi Brothers, an Anchorage coffee roaster.

Continental Buffet - The continental breakfast is served from 6:00 am to 10:00 am every morning from mid May to mid September. Includes coffee or tea, juice, pastry, cereal, fruit, yogurt.

Hot Buffet Breakfast - This breakfast buffet is served from 6:30 am to 10:00 am every morning from mid May to mid September. Includes coffee or tea, juice, pastry, fruit, yogurt, gourmet oatmeal bar, cereal, scrambled eggs, sausage, corned beef, ham, home fries, plain or potato pancakes and biscuits and gravy.

Every day in the summer, 100 steps away at Pike's Landing, we offer you casual and fine dining inside and outside, overlooking the Chena River.  Pike's Landing is open from  11:00 am to midnight. Lunch is available from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, snack service from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and the full menu available from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

In the summer, every day between 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm, we offer ice cream cones at the ice cream stand between the main lobby and the Binkley Room.

On Sundays, you may join us for the special Sunday Brunch at Pike's Landing from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  This is our staff's favorite meal of the week, mainly because everyone has a sweet tooth and LOVES the pastries.  The brunch is served most Sundays of the year and is $21.95 for adults, $18.95 for seniors.  We suggest calling 907-479-6500 for reservations. Under 3 years old is free  and for children from 4-10 years, the price is $10.00.  We do offer special holiday brunches and the price is higher for those special holidays.

Winter:

When the days get shorter, the air colder and the Northern Lights come out, the dining options change at Pike's.  Pike's Landing (only 100 steps away or 75 steps if you walk as Jay does) is still open every day from 11:00 am to midnight. Lunch is available from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, snack service from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and the full menu available from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

During the winter at Pike's Waterfront Lodge, we offer a complimentary continental breakfast. It has the usual juices, bread items and cereals.  What makes it special, in my opinion, are the delicious make your own waffles.  The muffins are baked in the Pike's kitchen and are yummy too.

You will be happy to know that while the Binkley Room closes for dining during the winter, we offer room service for those nights when you don't want to venture out in the cold.  But the best part of the food service in the winter is the homemade chocalate chip (sometimes sugar) cookies available at the front desk.  And we offer a free ice cream cone in the winter between 6 pm and 8 pm at the ice cream stand in the lobby.

So whether you need a cold beer or a freshly baked cookie, winter or summer, Pike's offers you food options.
