Meet our Team
Michelle joined Pike's in April, 2000 and is the second oldest employee. Michelle's life revolves around her son's activities; she especially enjoys skiing and volunteering at Munroe. You can find Michelle and her husband at fall holiday bazaars selling their Chaga tea; she says that it's the secret to long life and clean rooms at Pike's!
Director of Operations
Christena has worked at Pike's since almost the beginning and loves assisting guests with special issues. She has also been known to pet sit such pets as parrots, reptiles and loves dogs. Christena is a gourmet cook and enjoys seeking out special ingredients in Alaska stores.
Catering and Restaurant Manager
Ursula's decorating flair can be seen in the dining room with her unusual and eye catching arrangements. Ursula enjoys using her creativity to assist clients in creating a memorable event. She is well known for her pearl necklace collection.
Damon is our newest rookie and we offer him a warm Fairbanks welcome as he is a recent Hawaiian transplant. He loves cooking and likes the mild Fairbanks weather compared to his birthplace- Buffalo, New York.
Owner and second generation Fairbanksian
Jay is an active, hands-on owner and can be seen staining decks, planting flowers and pouring coffee in the morning. He is also our Duckmaster and very energetic.
Director, Marketing and Sales
Deborah was Pike's first employee. When she isn't updating our web site, she enjoys gardening and long distance walking.
