Dining at Pikes Waterfront Lodge
Pike’s Waterfront Lodge offers three dining choices on the Chena River. The first is the Binkley Room with its own special summer menu featuring comfort foods. The Binkley Room is located on the first floor of the main lodge overlooking the Chena River,flowing through the heart of Fairbanks. You can even dine outside on the decks on those warm, sunny summer Fairbanks days. In the summer, the Binkley Room is open for hot and cold breakfast buffet and dinner.
The Captain's Lounge is located on the main floor of the lodge. Named after Captain Jim Binkley of the Riverboat Discovery, the Captain's Lounge offers a quiet place to relax with a beverage of your choice, including draft Alaska beer.
For fine dining with a fantastic view of the Chena River, try the famous Pike's Landing, located right next door to Pike's Waterfront Lodge. Pike's Landing offers traditional Alaska fish and seafood specialties. Try the great appetizers and wines and enjoy the dessert tray at the end of your meal. Seating on the outdoor patio completes this Alaskan dining experience.

I have never been more impressed with a hotel and I have traveled the lower 48 and Canada for many years. I am a retired nurse and I have previously done contract work with Accor Hotels, the Hilton and it's subsidiaries - all 4 and 5 star hotels. I must tell you that the room was phenomenal in appearance and cleanliness, upon check in the staff was exceptionally helpful and the formal dining room was beyond anything I anticipated.
In particular there were two young men working the evening of the 14th in the formal dining room, our waiter; Brandon (I believe was his name) and the young man helping with the of bussing tables. They both were very attentive and profoundly professional. I particularly admired our waiter, Brandon, as he had a slightly unsteady gait related to a sprain (I had to ask him). In spite of the obvious pain he was in he remained tenaciously sincere and professional, giving 100%.
Our room and dinner, and a bottle of sparkling wine were gifts from my husbands boss as it would have been out of our budget, but this very special occasion was not only amazing because of the gift given, but because of the fabulous dinner, beautiful room and amazing staff of Pikes.
Thank you so very much, please thank the staff for us as this was an evening spent that will remain in my bank of most pleasant memories for the rest of my life. I will always stay there should I ever get to visit Fairbanks again and I will recommend your hotel and formal dining to anyone and everyone headed in your direction. Thank you so very much for retaining and hiring true customer service personnel.

Various Cobblers, Chocolate Mouse, Crème Brule, Champagne Cake, Carrot Cake, Chocolate Cake, Brownies, Rocky Road Bars, Key Lime Pie, Cookies, Biscotti, tarts and many more that our in house pastry staff create from week to week. Everyone loves dipping fresh fruit into our Chocolate Fountain.

that you call ahead for fine dining reservations. The deck
is a popular place for Fairbanks locals on sunny days and you may
experience a wait for a table.
